T-shirts, mugs, hats, pens…the opportunities for merchandise are vast. And since these items can be seen by any number of people, it's important we get our branding right. Follow these guidelines to ensure your merchandise is on-brand.

Mugs

Valspar-branded mugs can be designed in a variety of ways. Using color, the tagline as super graphic and varied sections of pattern, unique and eye-catching designs can be created.

Hats

Valspar-branded hats use our logo centered on the front with the tagline on the back. Select colors from the color palette. The black strap on the back of the hat is representative of the black bar in the identity system.

T-Shirts

Valspar-branded t-shirts come in a variety of colors and can be made with or without a pattern. The black banding on the neckline and arms is representative of the black bar in the identity system. The logo can also be placed alone on the front with the tagline on the back, or locked up with the tagline on the front.

Polo Shirts

Valspar-branded polo shirts come in all colors of the color palette. A small piece of pattern can be used behind the logo and tagline on the front. The logo can also be placed alone on the front with the tagline on the back, or locked up with the tagline on the front.

Pens

Valspar-branded pens come in classic gun metal grey or in one of the colors from the color palette. Pens can be made with or without a pattern.

Usage Considerations

The Valspar logo and visual identity system are beautiful pieces of art we proudly display to represent our company. One way we do that is through branded merchandise. While it is tempting to put the Valspar logo on a variety of articles, to uphold our brand integrity, this should be limited to items that best represent Valspar as a company and help deliver on our brand strategy.
