Opening/Closing Slide
Begin and end each presentation with this slide. The color may be changed, within the Valspar color palette, as desired.
Logo with Tagline
The logo with tagline is placed on the template grid, reversed out of a field of color in white. Keep the logo at the size it is placed in the PowerPoint template.
Color
Change the background color by selecting from the slide design color options. To change the color of only this opening/closing slide, right click on the desired slide design and
select, "Apply to Selected Slides."
Pattern
A large piece of the corporate
pattern bleeds off the page. Use any of the six patterns in the .png format available for download on the
Templates page. Change the pattern in the master slide of the desired slide design.
Title Slide
Logo with Tagline
The logo with tagline is placed on the template grid, reversed out of a field of color in white.
Color Field
Approximately two-thirds of the title screen is in color, always the upper half. Select a color from the slide design color options. To change the color of only this title slide, right click on the desired slide design and select, "Apply to Selected Slides."
Title, Presenter and Date
The title should always be below
the black bar in 38 pt. Arial. The presenter and date information should be in 11 pt. Arial immediately below the title.
Imagery
Three different sized images
should be used showing people in collaboration, structures Valspar products coat, and an abstract close-up of our products or items our products coat.
Images should be adjusted to reflect the content of the presentation.
Change the title slide images in the master slide.
Pattern

Section Divider Slide

Body copy is 20 pt. Arial. The bullet color is set in the template to match the color of the footer.
Footer
Each footer uses a 0.6 in.-thick color bar that includes a section heading text box in 16 pt. Arial, a page
number in 12 pt. Arial and the
Valspar logo reversed out in white. The color of the footer should remain consistent within sections.

Use one dominant image per screen. Images should include people interacting, products, items Valspar products coat, operations, community outreach and so on.

Text Slide with Chart
Headline
Use a 36 pt. Arial headline.
Subhead
Create subheads using 20 pt. Arial bold. Subheads should use the same color as the bullets and footer.
Subheads are not set up in the
template.
Charts and Graphs
Charts should leverage colors from our corporate color palette.
Pattern Usage
The pattern may be removed from the text-only slide to accommodate graphic treatments such as large charts, graphs or images.

If you remove the pattern in the slide master from the desired color section, it will affect all slides using this color.
Color Usage
A cover, section divider slide, text-only slide and chart slide can use the same base color to show a continous flow of content. As sections change, so should the color. Use one color per section.
All the colors from the Valspar color palette are available in the slide
design section of the PowerPoint template.
